Sister Cities. Local Action, Global Impact
Westport - Lyman
In December 2022 the towns of Westport, Connecticut, and Lyman, Donetsk, Ukraine became Sister Cities. This program, managed through Ukraine Aid International, aims to provide much-needed aid and support to the people of Lyman, who have been severely impacted by the ongoing war in Ukraine.
The people of Westport played a significant role in the early success of this program by raising an impressive $250k in just three weeks for Lyman. We are grateful for the generosity and support shown by Westporters, which has helped to bring hope and relief to our sister city.
